We start with a full exterior car wash to remove loose dirt and debris. Then we move into decontamination—clay bar treatment to pull out embedded contamination that washing alone won’t touch. If you’re getting paint correction or ceramic coating, that comes next. Otherwise, we apply a high-quality sealant or wax for protection.
Interior deep clean means vacuuming every surface, wiping down all plastics and leather, cleaning glass, treating fabrics, and getting into the spots most people skip—air vents, cup holders, door jambs. If you’ve added sanitization, we finish with an electrostatic spray that covers every surface at 360 degrees using hospital-grade disinfectant.
The whole process takes anywhere from two to six hours depending on your vehicle’s size and condition. We don’t rush. If something needs more attention, it gets it. You’ll know when we’re done because your car will look and feel completely different.

Every car detailing package starts with a complete exterior car wash and hand dry. From there, it depends on what your vehicle needs and what you’re trying to protect against.
Our full auto detailing includes exterior wash and decontamination, paint sealant or wax, wheel and tire cleaning, interior vacuuming, surface wipe-down, glass cleaning, and odor treatment. If you’re in Ballast Point and park outside, you’re dealing with constant sun exposure and salt air. A basic wash won’t cut it. You need protection that actually lasts.
Ceramic coating is a separate service—and it’s not cheap—but it’s the best long-term protection you can get. It bonds to your paint and creates a hard, hydrophobic layer that repels water, resists UV damage, and makes washing easier for years. Paint protection film does the same thing but adds physical protection against rock chips and scratches. Both make sense if you’re keeping your car long-term or if it’s a higher-end vehicle.
We also offer standalone interior deep clean services, sanitization packages, and complete vehicle reconditioning for cars that haven’t been detailed in years. And if you’re military, a first responder, a senior, or a new customer, we offer discounts—just ask when you book.

Most people in Ballast Point either leave for work or stay inside while we’re detailing. We bring our own water and power, so we don’t need to come inside or use your outlets. Just leave the keys somewhere accessible or leave the car unlocked if you’re comfortable with that.
We’ll text or call when we’re done. If you want to be there to see the results in person, that’s fine too—but it’s not required. The whole point of mobile detailing is convenience. You shouldn’t have to rearrange your day around a car cleaning.
If you plan to keep your car for more than three years and you park outside in Ballast Point, yes. Ceramic coating isn’t a luxury—it’s a practical investment in protection.

But you’ll still want regular washes in between to remove surface dirt and keep the coating performing. Take out anything you don’t want cleaned or moved—phone chargers, sunglasses, paperwork, garage door openers, whatever. We’ll work around things like car seats if you let us know ahead of time, but the emptier your car is, the more thorough we can be.
If your car is absolutely packed with stuff, we’ll still detail it—we’ll just need to move things around, which adds time. And if there’s something specific you want us to focus on, like a stain or an odor issue, mention it when you book so we can bring the right products. Otherwise, just make sure we have access to the vehicle and a relatively flat place to work. We handle everything else.
