You’re busy. Driving to a detail shop, waiting around, arranging a ride home—it eats up half your Saturday.
We handle everything at your location. You schedule a time that works. We show up with everything needed—power, water, equipment. You go about your day while your vehicle gets the full treatment.
When we’re done, your car looks showroom-ready and you didn’t lose three hours of your weekend. That’s the difference between traditional detailing and doorstep car cleaning. One respects your time. The other doesn’t.
Florida weather beats up your paint and interior faster than most climates. UV exposure fades dashboards. Humidity traps moisture in carpets. Pollen and tree sap bake onto clear coat. Regular mobile interior detailing keeps these problems from becoming expensive fixes down the road.
Timo Detailing Services started in 2020 with one goal: bring professional mobile wash services to New Tampa residents who don’t have time for traditional detail shops.
We’re not a franchise. We’re local, fully licensed and insured, and we know what Florida’s climate does to vehicles. That matters when you’re choosing products and techniques that actually protect your investment.
New Tampa has a lot of mobile detailers. What sets us apart is simple: we don’t rush. If it takes extra time to get your interior spotless or your paint corrected properly, we take that time. You’ll notice the difference when you see the results.
We also offer discounts for military members, seniors, and first responders. If you serve this community, we want to serve you back.
You reach out through our website or phone. We ask a few questions about your vehicle and what you need—basic wash, full detail, ceramic coating, interior deep clean, or something specific.
We schedule a time that works for your calendar. You tell us where—your home, your office, wherever you’ll be. We bring our fully equipped mobile unit with its own power and water supply.
When we arrive, you hand over the keys and go back to whatever you were doing. We start with a full exterior wash, then move into paint decontamination if needed. Wheels, tires, and wheel wells get individual attention. Interior work includes vacuuming, steam cleaning, leather conditioning, and dashboard treatment.
If you’ve booked paint correction or ceramic coating, that’s a longer process. We’ll walk you through timing upfront so you know what to expect. Most standard details take two to three hours. When we’re finished, we’ll walk you through what we did and answer any questions.
You inspect the work. If something doesn’t meet your standards, we address it before we leave. That’s the standard.
Ready to get started?
Every mobile detailing service includes a full exterior hand wash with pH-balanced soap that won’t strip existing wax or sealant. We clean and dress tires, treat wheel wells, and detail all exterior trim and glass.
Interior work covers vacuuming all seats, floors, and cargo areas. We use steam cleaning on fabric and carpet to lift stains and sanitize surfaces—especially important in Florida’s humidity where mold and mildew love to grow. Leather gets conditioned to prevent cracking from UV exposure. Dashboard and door panels are cleaned and protected with non-greasy UV protectant.
If you’re in New Tampa’s newer neighborhoods near the Shops at Wiregrass or around Hunter’s Green, you probably have a newer vehicle you want to protect. Ceramic coating is one of the best investments you can make in Florida. It creates a hard, protective layer over your paint that resists UV damage, makes washing easier, and keeps your car looking newer longer. It’s not cheap—ceramic coating services often exceed $1,000—but it lasts years and saves you money on paint correction and repainting down the road.
We also offer sanitization services that go beyond standard cleaning. This became critical during COVID, but it’s still relevant if you have kids, pets, or allergies. We use hospital-grade disinfectants that kill bacteria and viruses without damaging your interior materials.
Most standard details take between two and three hours depending on your vehicle’s size and condition. If you’re getting a basic wash and interior vacuum, expect closer to 90 minutes. Full details with paint decontamination and deep interior cleaning usually run two and a half to three hours.
Ceramic coating is different. That’s a multi-step process that includes paint correction, surface prep, coating application, and curing time. Depending on your vehicle’s condition and the coating package you choose, it can take anywhere from four to eight hours. We’ll give you an accurate time estimate when we assess your vehicle.
If you need your car back by a specific time, let us know when you book. We’ll tell you honestly whether we can meet that deadline or if we should schedule for a day when you have more flexibility.
Yes. Our mobile unit is fully self-contained with its own water supply and power generation. You don’t need to provide anything.
Some mobile detailers ask to use your garden hose or plug into your outdoor outlet. We don’t. That keeps things simple for you and ensures we have the right water pressure and power supply to do the job correctly.
The only thing we need from you is a location with enough space to work around your vehicle. Driveways work great. Parking lots are fine if you’re at an office. We’ve detailed cars in apartment complex parking areas, too. As long as we can access all sides of your vehicle, we’re good.
A regular detail cleans and protects your vehicle using traditional waxes or sealants. Those products sit on top of your paint and typically last a few weeks to a few months before they need reapplication. They provide decent protection and make your car look great, but they’re temporary.
Ceramic coating is a chemical bond that adheres to your paint at a molecular level. Once cured, it creates a hard, glass-like layer that lasts years instead of months. It’s significantly more resistant to UV damage, chemical etching from bird droppings and bug splatter, and minor scratches. It also makes your car much easier to wash because dirt and grime don’t stick as easily.
The application process is more involved. We start with paint correction to remove any existing swirls, scratches, or oxidation. Then we prep the surface with a panel wipe to remove any oils or residue. The coating gets applied in thin, even layers and needs time to cure. It’s a bigger investment upfront—often over $1,000 depending on your vehicle—but it pays off in long-term protection and reduced maintenance. In Florida’s brutal sun and humidity, ceramic coating is one of the smartest things you can do for your vehicle.
Most vehicles benefit from professional interior detailing every three to six months in Florida. That might sound frequent, but Florida’s humidity, heat, and UV exposure create conditions that accelerate interior wear.
Humidity gets trapped in carpet and upholstery, creating perfect conditions for mold and mildew. UV rays fade and crack leather and vinyl faster than in northern climates. Sand, pollen, and dirt get ground into fibers and become harder to remove the longer they sit.
If you have kids, pets, or spend a lot of time in your vehicle, lean toward every three months. If your car stays relatively clean and you’re diligent about quick cleanups, every six months is usually sufficient. The key is not letting problems build up to the point where they require expensive repairs—like replacing cracked leather or dealing with mold remediation.
Regular mobile interior detailing isn’t just about appearance. It’s about maintaining your vehicle’s value and avoiding the bigger costs that come from neglect in this climate.
We do our best to accommodate same-day requests when our schedule allows. If you call or text early in the day and we have an opening, we’ll make it happen.
That said, we’re usually booked a few days out, especially on weekends. New Tampa, Wesley Chapel, and Lutz keep us busy. If you have a specific date in mind—especially if it’s a weekend or you need service before an event—book as far ahead as you can.
We keep our service radius tight around New Tampa and surrounding areas specifically so we can be more responsive. We’re not driving 50 miles each way to jobs, which means we have more flexibility to fit in last-minute requests when they come up. But the more notice you give us, the better we can accommodate your preferred time slot.
We focus primarily on New Tampa and the immediately surrounding areas—Wesley Chapel, Lutz, Land O Lakes, and parts of North Tampa. We keep our service radius intentionally tight so we can provide faster response times and more flexible scheduling.
Driving 50 or 60 miles each way to jobs eats up time and increases costs, which either gets passed to you or cuts into the time we spend actually detailing your vehicle. Neither is good. By staying local, we maximize efficiency and keep our pricing competitive without sacrificing quality.
If you’re outside our typical service area but still in the greater Tampa Bay region, reach out anyway. Depending on our schedule and your specific location, we might be able to work something out. We just can’t guarantee the same flexibility we offer to our core New Tampa service area.
